Blue Interior..

Woke up today by a text message from Albert saying, "Yo you awake? Come by when you can, something happened to your car." At first I was a little worried, but figured if anything bad happened, it's a body shop, they could fix it. So I got a hint that he was joking, and that they were working on the car. When I arrived to Franklin Auto Body, I saw that my car was no longer in it's spot, but rather in the paint booth. They were sanding and prepping the interior for paint. They painted the interior and half of the engine bay until they ran out of paint. I am very happy with the way the Long Beach Blue Pearl paint looks. The color is very deep and rich. They are going to purchase more paint tomorrow and finish spraying the engine bay and missed spots in the interior.

Koni 3011..

I received my Koni 3011 dampers the other day from Andrie over at Prima Racing. Again, great guy to do business with, and it's also good to support your local racers! He gives great recommendations, and is very knowledgeable, as he has many years of experience. These are Koni 3011's sized for Civic/Integra, and are two way adjustable (bump and compression). The first thing I noticed when I unboxed these were how much thicker the bodies were than regular Koni Sport (yellow) shocks. I ordered these with B53 valving, which is can handle spring rates between 500 - 2000lbs. I also ordered these with the adjustable Koni coilover sleeves in order to adjust ride height. I plan to order Eibach race springs to go along with these dampers.

Track Wheels..

A couple weeks ago I received my last set of wheels from Jason, over in Japan. I have been waiting for these wheels for approximately 3 months, and they finally arrived. They are Volk Racing TE37. The fronts are 15x8 +27 and the rears are 15x7 +30. These sizes are pretty rare and have since been discontinued by Volk. Luckily there were no scratches, curbs, or bends and the only flaw were the stickers, which I replaced with genuine Volk/Rays stickers. Since these are my dedicated track wheels, I decided to run R-compounds on them, 205/50/15 Toyo R888. Can't wait to run these at the track. Sticky icky icky!!

Power Supplies..

Received my order from Pegasus Auto Racing today, which included a bunch of wiring accessories. I am going to redo the power system in my car with all black cased wire, for a cleaner look. I ordered 4 gauge and 6 gauge wire, as well as many wire terminals and connectors. Also ordered a new master switch key and pull cable.
